As your teacher, I feel very proud & honoured to have been able to guide you in your learning, and to see how much each of you have grown into the wonderful young person you are today. Many of you have been in my class for the past 2 years. You have been a fantastic bunch of leaders in A3, as well as great role-models at Glenholme school.
Your Whanau’s should be proud of your achievements.
This year has had its many highlights, notably— Camp, back in term 2; our ’Kitchen Science’ unit in term 3; and this term our topic study about ‘Ancient Egypt’; as well as our picnic day at Lake Okareka, where you all got to paddle a waka tangata.
We have packed a lot into this year & we have had a lot of fun too!!
Before I welcome the A3 Year 6 students for their presentations I would like to share a quote for them-
‘The wind that fills my sails propels; but I am the helmsman’.
You are incharge of your destiny as you strive to reach your goals and follow your future dreams.
Kia kaha to you all for your future.
Mrs Owen
